The best mother of the year award goes to a lady who used her child as a shield:

Officers were at an apartment checking on an assault claim made by the woman when a man confronted them, making threats. One of the officers displayed a Taser as the man approached. Police said the mother offered her child to the man, placing the toddler in the Taser’s path. She was arrested Tuesday night and placed at the Marion County jail on a 24-hour hold. Full Story

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of 1984’s cult classic rockumentary This Is Spinal Tap, the boys are back with a new album that promises to be the loudest yet. Way past 11. Bassist Derek Smalls told Billboard, “basically, it was possible to put out a record that was way louder than any we’ve ever had before, and that was a selling point right there.”

The new album “Back From The Dead” hits stores on June 16th, but you can download a new track “Saucy Jack” (about Jack the Ripper) on their site SpinalTap.com today.
