Bono has reportedly saved the highly-publicized Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark Broadway musical. The U2 frontman, who penned the show’s music with fellow band member the Edge, reportedly arranged for more financing, asking wealthy friends to invest. Work had been put on hold last month amid rumors that producers had run out of money to finance the show, which has apparently cost $45 million so far. The show is supposed to open in February 2010.
