A fan stabbed during a recent Motley Crue concert near Buffalo, New York, is recovering, though his attacker has not been caught. John Bieganski was stabbed in the leg during a scuffle, leaving a 4-inch-long gaping wound that required 28 stitches. After the stabbing, Bieganski was rescued from the crowd by a friend, with another concert-goer helping place a makeshift tourniquet on the leg until medical personnel could arrive.

John was actually carried over to a few air force recruiters working for charity and they used thier training to perform self and buddy care to save this guys life. They ended up using thier belts as makeshift tourniquets(we learn in training) after applying direct pressure with thier shirts to the wound did not work. EMS told them that 5 more minutes and he would have died.
