Chris Cornell joined Pearl Jam to perform a couple of songs with the band during one of their shows in Los Angeles this week. The jam marked the reunion of Temple of the Dog, a band that consisted of Cornell and the musicians that went on to make up Pearl Jam back in the early 1990’s.
Cornell performed “Hunger Strike” with the band and then provided a guitar solo for “Alive” to close out the show. After Temple of the Dog parted ways, Pearl Jam would go on to be one of the most successful grunge rock bands, while Cornell would find success as frontman for Soundgarden and Audioslave.
