[CBS News] Now that he has turned 18 years old, Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal wants the people at Guinness World Records to notice his excessive ’smallness’. Magar is 22-inches tall and now that he is a legal adult, he thinks the title of The World’s Shortest Man belongs to him.
He applied four years ago, but was denied the title since he was only 14 at the time and not considered an “adult”.
The one we feel sorry for… the guy who currently holds the record. He Pingping of China (pictured above with World’s Tallest Man in “Most Ironic Photo Ever”) comes in at 29 inches tall at the age of 21. I mean, what do you do when you’re the “Second Shortest Man in the World”. Is there a silver medal for stature? We certainly hope so. For Pingping’s sake.
But whatever happens, keep your head up Pingping… people might trip on you if your bending over.
