Despite attempts to keep the cast members for the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice a secret, People magazine has reported that Cyndi Lauper was spotted on the set of NBC’s hit show.

A photograph was taken of the 1980s singer walking off the business-reality show’s set with Poison frontman Brett Michaels.

People also spotted other stars such as Sharon Osbourne, former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, baseball great Darryl Strawberry, celebrity chef Curtis Stone and comedian Sinbad on the set of Donald Trump’s show.

NBC has declined to confirm any of the cast members in order to maintain the secrecy of the upcoming season. The show will return to in spring of 2010. Last year’s season ended with Joan Rivers beating out poker star Annie Duke.

It has come out that the entire stunt was a hoax and that at least one media outlet had agreed to pay the Henne family for carrying it out. The parents now face multiple charges, including a couple felony accounts, and owe the state of Colorado a chunk-of-change for the costs involved in trying to ’save’ the balloon boy floating above Colorado.
