U2 will play a free concert at the Brandenburg Gate next month to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the falling of the Berlin Wall. The concert, which is scheduled for November 5, will occur at the same time as the MTV Europe Music Awards. Part of the band’s performance will be broadcast into Berlin’s O2 Arena for the award show. “It’ll be an exciting spot to be in, 20 years almost to the day since the wall came down,” U2 manager Paul McGuiness said. “Should be fun.” Read more music news.
