[CBS News] “Chic” and “style” aren’t usually words one uses when describing the home of the Big Mac. But McDonald’s is trying to add some more modern flare into their urban eateries. Stocked with a new design, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and upholstered vinyl chairs are just some of the changes seen in the first of many “McDonald Makeovers” in Manhattan.
While we’re not sure how long the hip, Euro-inspired McDonalds will last, JACK wants to know why Manhattan gets it first. Weren’t the first golden arches in Des Plaines? Is Rock ‘N Roll McDonalds not good enough for a makeover. Tsk tsk, McD’s. Tsk tsk indeed.
