Def Leppard has been sued by Trudy Green, a former manager, over unpaid commissions for two tours she helped promote.
Green has also sued the band’s operating company, Def Leppard Touring, its U.K. merchandiser, Bludgeon Riffola, and Litten, the band’s tour accountant and assistant tour manager.
According to RadarOnline.com, Green is seeking at least $700,000 in damages for breach of oral contract, breach of implied in fact contract, breach of quasi contract/unjust enrichment, fraud, intentional interference with contract and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage.
“Plaintiff was not paid its earned commissions on this tour pursuant to the Agreement,” reads the court documents acquired by RadarOnline. “After the Band had been paid, [Green] spent the next several months working with Def Leppard’s accountants and other professionals to determine the amount of commissions due and to ultimately receive payment.”
Green insists that she is owed at least a $75,000 commission from a 29-date European tour, $551,250 from a longer U.S. tour and $85,727 commission stemming from merchandise sales.
