Dave Matthews Band 20 Years, Still Rocking

February 1st, 2010  |  Filed under: Jack's Music Beat, The Grammys

Dave Matthews Band might not have brought home Album of the Year last night, but they still had much to celebrate. 2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of the band being together. With humble beginings playing Jazz clubs in Charlottesville, VA – DMB has developed a huge fanbase and become one of the biggest touring acts in music history. Above is the video of the band performing the song “You and Me” from their 2009 release Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King.

If you like this performance, you should definitely check the band out this summer as they pull through town on their annual warm-month American tour. The 2010 dates include a pair of shows on July 3rd & 4th at Alpine Valley with opening act Zac Brown Band (who also won a Grammy last night for Best New Artist), a June date in Noblesville, IN, and a rumored show sometime this summer at Wrigley Field.
