If that statement could’ve come out of your mouth, than you’re in luck if you are a young male aged 10 to 14 years old. DreamWorks Studios has started a nationwide casting search to fill a lead role in its upcoming movie “Real Steel,” with star Hugh Jackman.
If you’re interested or have a child that might be interested, you can submit a videotaped audition through www.realsteelcasting.com.
There’s also an open casting call on Sunday, February 14, 2010 right here in Chicago, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Chicago Academy of the Arts, 1010 W. Chicago Street, Chicago, IL 60642-5490. No acting experience necessary. We can’t think of anything more romantic that you could do for Valentine’s Day.
The movie sets as sports drama about the “new sport of robot-boxing.” Directing by Shawn Levy (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) and Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis have a hand in executive producing the film.
