KISS and tribute band Mini KISS will appear together in a Super Bowl ad for Dr. Pepper this Super Sunday.
The ad (that could cost them as much as 2.8 million dollars) is expected to air during the second quarter of Sunday’s game between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts, according to Spinner.
Mini KISS, which was founded by longtime Kiss fan Joey Fatale, is one of the most popular tribute bands. It is made up of little people, including the 4-foot-4 Fatale, who plays a miniature version of Gene Simmons.
“It’s always the sincerest form of flattery,” Simmons says of the tribute band, Spinner reports.
Side note, JACK will be at Joe’s Bar, 940 W. Weed Street this Sunday for JACK’s Big Game Party starting at 5pm.
