Think of what could be your worst experience at the dentist office; does it include a root canal being preformed with a paper clip? Didn’t think so!

The San Francisco Chronicle reported earlier this week about a Massachusetts dentist named Michael Clair who was billing Medicaid for stainless steel dentist tools, yet actually using paper clips in patient’s teeth. Not only is this crazy dentist being charged with assault, but battery, larceny, submitting false claims to Medicaid, and illegally prescribing drugs too.

Former Journey frontman Steve Perry is “shocked” at Sarah Silverman’s accusation that he made racist remarks when the two met after one of her shows.

In a recent interview with Playboy, Silverman says that Perry used the “n-word” when praising her for making jokes about African Americans.

According to Perry, however, he never used the taboo “n-word” and merely expressed his appreciation for her deft navigation of racial issues.

“I’m really shocked. She was so friendly and so nice,” Perry said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. “I don’t understand why she would go there, it’s so bizarre. I don’t use that word, are you kidding? That’s so derogatory.”

He continued on to explain that the comic took his words out of context, and that her statements don’t paint an accurate picture of the incident.

The Rolling Stones are teaming up with Eagle Rock Entertainment to release two new documentary films that will give a behind-the-scenes look at the band in the studio and on the road.

The first film, titled Stones In Exile, is set for release in June and follows the band as it recorded 1972’s legendary Exile on Main St. album. The second title is a digitally remastered re-release of the band’s 1974 concert film, Ladies and Gentlemen . . . The Rolling Stones. The concert film will be in theaters next fall with a DVD/Blu-ray release soon to follow.

“We are delighted to add a band of such unparalleled caliber as the Rolling Stones to our catalogue and are delighted to be bring to consumers a pair of such important and high quality titles,” said Geoff Kempin of Eagle Rock.

The Stones have been in the spotlight this week, after American Idol featured the band’s music on this week’s episode, with contestants covering such classics as “Paint It Black” and “Under My Thumb.”
