The Scorpions have announced a handful of the dates that will be included on their upcoming farewell tour. The summer run will include three U.S. stops this June. The band will appear in Holmdel, New Jersey; Columbia, Maryland; and Wantagh, New York. The German rockers also confirmed one fall gig at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on September 7.
The tour will support the band’s seventeenth studio album, Sting in the Tail, which is set for release on March 23. Fans who pre-order the album through iTunes will have a chance to purchase tickets before the regular on sale date, April 7.

“We want to celebrate [with] a big party around the world,” Rudolf Schenker told Live Daily in a recent interview. “We’ve had a really great career, coming out from Germany and showing people that rock can come out of Germany. I think we started as a gang built by friendship and musicality, and going and showing that the Germans can rock.”
