The movie sets on the premise of 3 friends (John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson) and a young kid (Clark Duke) related to somebody in the movie or maybe a few people we don’t want to give it all away… Ready to get away for the weekend when they stumble upon their old vacation site, not quite the way they remembered it.

They hop in a Hot Tub, apparently also a time machine, bringing them back to the days of Duran Duran, INXS, Poison, Motley Crue and everything else 1986 like Jheri Curls, Leg Warmers and ridiculous outfits.

We don’t want to give away everything else but there are some laughs, tears, scandals, bathroom scences, bear costumes, and “Great White Buffalo” references that we’re still figuring out.

JACK sat down with the cast of the film, and here’s our first set with Rob Corddry and Craig Robinson. We loved them in the Heartbreak Kid and The Office respectively. You’ll love them here. Just try not to get too dizzy. Our camerawoman had a few bloody marys before the shoot.

Speaking of Back to the Future, it’s George McFly, we mean Crispin. Cripsin Glover. We don’t have much else to say but man this guy is well spoken and has got several projects in 2010 you need to see.

Lastly, but certainly not least. It’s Colette Wolfe and Lizzy Caplan. One of the many good reasons to see this movie. There a few scenes, we’d like to see again if you catch our drift. Catch their interview now.

The name of the company apparently has nothing to do with the recent Tiger Woods scandal but that the publicity sure does help. For $1.49 a month Tiger could have saved himself a lot of trouble.

The TigerText website says, “TigerText is different because, even though it looks and feels identical to a normal text message, the content of your message is never sent to the recipient’s phone and you control when the message is deleted from our server so you control the lifespan of the message!”

TigerText is only offered to the iPhone and iPod Touch but will be available to Blackberry and Android phones soon.

This crazy ninja-action film is filled to the brim with martial arts and katana sword fights. The film has received mediocre reviews, mainly dealing with the lack of an overall “plot”.

In addition to their musical performance, the “Jeremy” hitmakers stuck around to appear in a parody sketch of The Twilight Zone episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.” Casablancas also lent his comedic skills to the show, joining Andy Samberg for a sketch in which the two blasted boom boxes in unlikely places.

Pearl Jam recently announced a new string of headlining tour dates in continued support of Backspacer. The run will kick off May 1 at Jazz Fest in New Orleans and finish up with back-to-back nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden on May 20 and 21. Get Tour Dates here.

The Allman Brothers Band played in New York last Thursday at the United Palace Theater. The seven-piece band’s set lasted more than three hours.

Frontman Gregg Allman lead the group through such classics as “Jessica” and “Melissa,” along with covers of Van Morrison’s “And It Stoned Me” and the 1974 Michael Price and Dan Walsh hit, “Ain’t No Love in the Heart of the City.” The Allman Brothers, who are used to playing in NYC this time of year as part of an annual two-week stint at the Beacon Theater, found themselves in an unusual venue this year. Due to scheduling issues, the two-week residency was moved from the Beacon Theater to United Palace Theater.

The band played two long sets and a three-song encore, closing the night with the classic tune “One Way Out.”

Police trucks and tanks were deployed as hundreds of fans rioted outside Metallica’s performance at Simón Bolívar Park in Bogotá, Columbia, last week.

According to a report from Sky News, the crowd attempted to illegally enter the venue without tickets, resulting in nearly 160 arrests. Four police officers and four fans were reportedly injured in the melee.

“Those people that did not get in wanted to get in by force,” a local police official told Sky News. “The presence of police and riot teams was necessary because these misfits – there’s no other name for them – damaged some windows in the surrounding area.”

This is the second riot in three months by South American Metallica fans; 120 were arrested at the band’s January performance in Santiago, Chile.

Pearl Jam have released dates for their upcoming spring tour featuring support from Band of Horses, with the Black Keys subbing in for a show on May 20.

The alt-rock legends will hit the road May 1 for a stop at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. They will hit several U.S. cities before wrapping up with back-to-back dates at New York’s Madison Square Garden on May 20 and 21.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, moving 198,000 copies in its first week.

We found this gem online of Red Hot Chili Peppers doing a rocking cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady”. The music is rocking but what blew our minds completely was at about :25 in you realize Flea is thrashing upside down.

Now that is rock.

Record giant EMI is in deep right now with classic rock gods Pink Floyd. The band, who has stood by their albums as complete artistic works, is lashing out against the online practice of selling “singles” on Amazon or iTunes. Everyone knows the best way to enjoy Darkside of the Moon is in it’s entirety… played to Wizard of Oz… which is the way the band always intended it.

The band has won a long battle against EMI for unpaid royalties and as part of the settlement, may have protected their music from being released as singles. EMI has pulled the ability to download Pink Floyd from the online stores for now.

Not sure what it spells for the rest of online sales, but it is looking more and more like a return to the “album only” days.
