Candidates should provide a quality sales effort in maintaining; prospecting and developing new business dollars to assure annually established sales goals are met. Make a full contribution to the success of the department & station by being an effective team member. We are seeking a self-starter who is willing to devote full time to developing and servicing accounts with the ability to develop advertising revenue at the retail level, to successfully meet sales projections and budgets as set by you & sales management team and work compatibly with management and sales staff. 1-2 years sales experience required. Must be self-motivated, highly energetic, and competitive. Marketing degree preferred

104.3 JACK FM is now accepting resumes from college students for Spring 2010 and Summer 2010 internships in our Promotions Department. If you love music and your idea of work is meeting new people and traveling all over the Chicagoland area, we want to hear from you!
JACK will give you the chance to learn the inner workings of a large market radio station while providing exposure to the promotions, programming, and sales departments.
Responsibilities include assisting management in the execution of various promotions including station appearances, festivals, concerts, movie screenings and so on. It involves daily interaction with our listeners and getting inside of inflatable costumed characters. You will be one of the smiling faces that represent Chicago’s greatest radio station (JACK FM) on the streets. We’ll teach you the art of playing what we want, and help you brush up on your guitar hero and corn hole skills. Don’t make that any dirtier than it already sounds.
This position will also include various clerical work in the office, such as answering phones and checking e-mails, researching information, helping with our online content, blogging, and much more. We require that you work a minimum 20 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You get to earn college credit while working on your tan and jamming out to JACK all summer long, what could be better? REQUIREMENTS
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student currently enrolled at a college or university.
• Must be able to receive college credit for internship; and provide proof of class registration.
• Commit to at least 20 hours a week at the station; including evenings, weekends, holidays and must commit for a minimum of 10 to 12 weeks.
• Must not be an employee or intern at any other station while doing an internship at WJMK-FM/JACK FM; college stations exempt.
